The highest quality leather, aniline is the most natural, soft and gracefully supple of all leather types. Aniline leather is generally the most expensive of all leather types as only the very best rawhides can qualify for this type, which attract a higher cost. This leather will feel the lightest and smoothest as it has not received any treatment – it will almost feel like a second skin to you.

Never use oils, saddle soaps, conditioners or cleaners on pure aniline or aniline leather. Pure aniline leathers have the least amount of protective finish, so spills and soiling should be removed immediately to avoid permanent discoloration.
